NEW YORK, May 24, 2011 – Middleberg Communications, a mid-sized, New York City-based public relations agency has named Jodi Meryl Wallace director of strategic branding and creative services. In this role, Ms. Wallace will be responsible for overseeing the creative development of brand strategies for the agency’s business-to-business, healthcare and technology accounts.
"Since our inception, our public relations campaigns have integrated with our clients’ strategic goals. Now, with the speed that news travels across the globe, it’s more important than ever for PR to be in sync with a company’s communications platform. Clients are looking to us to deliver more holistic programs; branding and messaging chief among them,” said agency CEO Don Middleberg. “While media relations is still a primary driver, other capabilities such as social media, search engine optimization and multimedia are services we are offering. Our job is to help our clients grow their business and we’re expanding our talent and resources to do so.”
In commenting on her appointment, Ms. Wallace stated, “Middleberg Communication is a rare public relations agency. Not only do they understand branding and its role in the marketing communications mix, but they are incorporating this communications discipline into all client programs. I am delighted to be joining a team that can think both strategically and creatively, and quite importantly, execute plans from both perspectives.”
Over the last 30 years, Ms. Wallace has developed strong corporate branding campaigns and executed important marketing initiatives for a wide array of corporations, organizations and industries. Her expertise reaches from hospitals and healthcare to banking, pharmacy automation, supply chain, restaurant management, and retail.
